SUN Tech is an amazing opportunity and privilege given to many students and others in the Susquehanna Valley. I am very grateful for the chance to attend the Electrical class and open what has been multiple doors with what I have learned. Through the Co-op program I was able to start my career as a rough wire and finish electrician, and went on to start a 7500-hour Electrical Line Construction apprenticeship. My teacher told us “even if you decide this isn’t the career path for you, you will never have to pay someone to come change your light switch”. That has stuck with me through my entire journey.
