Recently, SUN Area Technical Institute received an Aluminum Ford truck bed from Sunbury Motors/Sunbury Frame and Alignment. The Aluminum body panels are an upgrade that Ford Motor Company has utilized to make their trucks over eight hundred pounds lighter thus making the vehicles more fuel efficient. The process to repair Aluminum is very different from repairing steel panels.  Special tools are required to be used on the panels and heat is usually needed to reshape the aluminum back to its original appearance.
