Lewisburg 8th grade students had the opportunity to visit SUN Tech and participate in hands on projects. Students created heat transfer shirts in Advertising Art & Design, learned proper hand washing and gowning techniques in Health Professions, created miniature foundation structures in Masonry, created personalized toolboxes in Carpentry, rolled and cut a metal fire ring while in Welding, assembled small cabinet boxes in Advanced Wood Products Manufacturing, used the laser to create ornaments in Advanced Precision Machining, made cake pops in Culinary Arts, recorded finger printing in Criminal Justice, assembled a PC in Computer Networking and Technology, assisted with hair coloring, cutting, manicures and pedicures in Cosmetology, completed various tooth activities in Dental Health Technology and utilized soldering tools in Electronics Technology! We hope the students had as much fun visiting our programs as we did having them here!
