On Friday, October 6^th , Chris Hilliard, a Lewisburg High School Alumni of Georgetown, Delaware, visited SUN Area Technical Institute to speak to the Health Occupation Students of America Club (HOSA) about his Paramedic Education and Career. HOSA is made up of the Dental Health Technology Program and the Health Occupations Programs. Hilliard explained the difference between being an EMT and a Paramedic.  He shared with the students what a typical daily routine is like but noted that his days are never the same and he enjoys that.  Hilliard further inspired everyone when he reminded the students that disease or injury can affect everyone the same, regardless of who you are. He also mentioned that everyone should be treated equally regardless of your age, sex or religion background.
