Mifflinburg Bank & Trust Company recently awarded the SUN Area Career & Technology Foundation a check for $3,500 to support technical education.  The Foundation uses funds to assist students attending SUN Area Technical Institute with necessary uniforms, tools, and industry certification fees.   Support from donors also allows programs such as the Summer Career Camp for middle school students and the PC Now program through Penn College which offers dual enrollment credits for high school students.  Anyone interested in supporting the Foundation can call 570-966-1031 or visit the SUN Tech website at www.sun-tech.org.
