Raise the Region is an event where donations can be made to local non-profit organizations to help support them.  This event is sponsored by Blaise Alexanders in Selinsgrove and Williamsport. On March 8, beginning at 6:00 pm. until March 9 at 11:59 p.m. individuals can donate monies to help the SUN Tech Foundation.

The SUN Tech Education Foundation was established in 2010 as a means to bridge the financial gap not funded by traditional sources of revenue. Since the Foundation is a 501(c)(3), contributions to the Foundation are tax deductible. The Foundation is designed to enrich the educational experience not only for the general student population, but also for specific students based on need. The purpose of the foundation is to promote, enhance and endow education and learning opportunities at SUN Area Technical Institute that will ensure student success in their chosen career pathway. The foundation also offers limited scholarships for higher education/certifications, provides funds for program renovations and expansions, provides program uniforms and equipment to ensure student success in their chosen career paths, and more!
